July 18, 2009 Hero's Home

We decided to ship Hero back to us using a contractor from uship.com, and it worked like a charm. Hero and David traveled together well and Hero was delivered to our doorstep happy and healthy. I was notified many times on they're locations every few hours and I felt very comfortable.

Much of the time, Hero sat inbetween the seats of the Astro Van with his head on Davids lap, or he curled up and slept on the padded carpet in the back. About 5 miles from the house, Hero came alive and started whining and barking with excitement.

This might not be for every dog, but Hero is very confident, has a great nature and is very obedient.

Dog Shipping

I found an inexpensive way to ship dogs!

Dog Transport

Its really easy to use, just list your dog, the dates and wait for the bids to come in. I was able to ship Hero half way across the country for only $358 and didn't need to purchase an extra large crate. Hero will be picked up and delivered to the addresses I gave.

David will be bringing Hero back inside his air conditioned Astro Van. David has over 100 positive references, and when we spoke, I felt he is a very nice older man. He wll keep in contact and make sure to call and keep us up do date on their progress as they travel.

I'm really happy that I could save about half the cost of flying (flight, crate, vet cert) and Hero will not be treated like luggage.

I'll keep you updated, until then

Sita whelped her pups a few days ago. She had one male and one female.

Hanny was checked and didn't conceive... we will have her checked out and try again next time.

I'm looking at this as a mixed blessing. There are so many puppies for sale, and our economy is soo soft that puppies are not being sold. Not having 16 puppies for sale might be a good thing for right now.

We are puppy sitting Sondra, a Eurosport puppy. We met her new owners the other day, they are very nice newly weds. Sondra will have a wonderful new home.

Jyota is enjoying her SchH work. She is learning the basic position for heeling, puppy tracking and of course she is having a blast with bite work! She is just so full of life...

Happy Independence everyone!
